Big Data and Analytics, Cloud Computing, Mobility and Social Networks are the 4 pillars of technological disruption. When brought together, they can provide major benefits to the enterprise, including easier customer reach snd personalized customer care, leading to improved productivity, better collaboration and innovation. The consumerization of technology, marked by the advent of employee-owned smartphones and tablets into the workplace, has changed the role of the IT department and the CIO. They are no longer limited to technology but have evolved and grown, making “people” the key consideration and focusing on their empowerment and collaboration needs.

The objective of the session is to focus on ‘How is IT dealing with consumerization, and the shift in control of technology spend from CIO’s to CMO’s or CDO’s’.
