The Indian political environment is extremely dynamic by nature, with multiple regional and national parameters dictating various aspects of operation. This in-turn has a direct impact on businesses operating in the country - in terms of policy formulations and sanctions, business terms and conditions – and all of this connected to the larger society in which these businesses operate. With a continuous evolution of the economy of India - shifting from an iron clad to a more open global player - the political class of the country has realized that it’s an imperative for India to be a favorable location for businesses if they aim to see inclusive growth across sections. On the other hand, Indian businesses have started to adapt to the unique business environment of India and are devising strategies to hedge & function in any scenario. The industry at-large is witnessing a positive trend, being certain that it will pass through the any political scenario and eventually de-link itself from the any political disturbance.
