Cathy Tornbohm is a Gartner vice president responsible for business process outsourcing (BPO) research. She specializes in BPO for administrative purposes, specifically finance and accounting BPO, which includes accounts payable BPO, accounts receivable BPO, order to cash BPO, source to pay BPO and procurement BPO. Her research includes analysis of end-user requirements, BPO companies' market offerings, end-user sourcing and market sizing of BPO adoption. She also covers cloud, business process as a service and is the agenda manager for all BPO. Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Tornbohm provided strategic market and competitive analysis for BT's Systems Integration division, BT Syntegra, as well as for Cable & Wireless, where she specialized in the transportation sector.
