Francois Enaud

After graduating in civil engineering from L’EcolePolytechnique and L’EcoleNationale des PontsetChaussées, François Enaud began his career in 1982 with Colas, world leader in road construction and maintenance. He joined Steria in 1983 as an Engineer. In 1991, he was placed in charge of the Transport Division, then in 1996, the Telecoms Division. He was appointed CEO of Steria in 1997 and Chairman and CEO in 1998. In 1999, François Enaud floated the company on the stock exchange. In 2000, Steria bought over 3 French managed services and telecommunications companies and became one of France's top five managed services providers. François Enaud continued to boost the company’s international development with the strategic acquisition of three large firms in 6 years. In 2001, Steria bought over Integris, which groups together Bull's IT service activities in Europe. In 2004, Steria strengthened its presence in Germany with the acquisition of Mummert Consulting. With the takeover of the UK firm Xansa in 2007, Steria acquired a proven outsourcing model, enabling it to serve its customers from India, thus consolidating its network of shared service centres located in Morocco, Poland and the other European countries in which it is established. Steria also reinforced its UK presence and entered the Business Process Outsourcing market. Chevalier of the Légiond'honneur, François Enaud is member of the board of Arkema and President of ANSA (agence nouvelle des solidarités actives).
