Paramjit Jassal (PJ) is the Senior Vice President, Finance Operations at Universal Music Group. He is based out of London and has been working with the Universal Music Group since 1999. In his current role, PJ has financial responsibility for UMG’s Corporate Head Offices, International Physical and Digital Supply Chain and Global IT functions. He is also enabling the integration of the recently acquired EMI Recorded Music business.

In recent years, PJ has driven a number of transformational initiatives, including outsourcing and offshoring of non-core back-office Finance and IT functions, and refreshing the Finance Systems with a standardized SAP ERP platform roll-out across UMG’s global operations. PJ also has responsibility for UMG’s Finance BPO program ─ driving process harmonization and standardization across UMG with wholly owned operations in 60 territories. PJ is a B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science and Cybernetics, and is a Chartered Accountant.
