R. Sukumar is presently the Editor of Mint, the business daily from HT Media Ltd in collaboration with Wall Street Journal. Prior to his joining the HT Media group, Sukumar had been associated with the leading business magazine, Business Today as the Managing Editor. He had been associated with the magazine for more than eight years.

R Sukumar has 12 years of experience in the arena of business journalism. He joined Business Today way back in 1994 as an Assistant Editor and was promoted in March 2006 as the Managing Editor of the magazine. Sukumar had been an integral part of the growth and success of Business Today. He is a very approachable journalist, who is always open to new ideas.
