Shivinder Mohan Singh is the Executive Vice Chairman of Fortis Healthcare Limited, a leading healthcare delivery providerin India and the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Singh led the company’s first hospital at Mohali as its COO in 2001.Together with key greenfield projects, he spearheaded acquisitions that transformed the healthcare business. Significant among these include, the Escorts Heart Institute in Delhi, Malar Hospital in Chennai and Wockhard Hospitals in Mumbai. He was also instrumental in the concept and building of Fortis’ flagship hospital andthe most advanced healthcare destination in Asia, the Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurgaon. His vision and strategic intellect make him a much sought-after business leader at industry bodies and at associations. He is on the Steering Committee of FICCI, board member of Aspen India and founder and Vice President of the Governing Council of NATHEALTH.Mr. Singh is actively involved in several initiatives for social change. He holds an MBA from the Duke University Business School, USA and is an Honours Graduate in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
